Configure Worldline Direct for Sayl Retail
Worldline is a global operating payment provider that has strengthened its online payment offering with the acquisition of Ingenico. In this guide we explain you how to configure your Ingenico account to make sure it works in combination with Sayl Retail.
Prerequisite:
  • As a business owner, you need to have a payment contract signed with Worldline, for online payments (Ingenico).
  • You need to know how to access the Ingenico backoffice. This backoffice can typically be visited by going to https://secure.ogone.com/.
  • You possess the PSPID and password to log in.
Note: You can also visit Worldline Ingenico's support site.
Step 1 - make sure payment methods are active

Log into the Ingenico backoffice and go in the menu to 'Configuration'. Then choose submenu 'payment methods', and look for the tab 'Choose new payment methods' to add payment methods. Choosing and configuring the payment methods is beyond the scope of Sayl Retail, if you need assistance from Worldline please contact their support or your account manager.
Step 2 - set the correct Sayl Retail URLs so communication goes flawless

Log into the Ingenico backoffice and go in the menu to 'Configuration'. Then choose submenu 'payment methods', and look for the tab 'Choose new payment methods' to add payment methods. Choosing and configuring the payment methods is beyond the scope of Sayl Retail, if you need assistance from Worldline please contact their support or your account manager.
Step 2 - Get the keys that Sayl Retail needs

The key information that Sayl Retail needs are:

  • Your PSP ID: the login you use to login to the Ingenico backoffice
  • API key
  • Secret key

You will find the API Key in 'Configuration' - Technical information - Ingenico Direct settings.

Step 3 - Configure everything in Sayl Retail

Open a new tab on your browser, and login to Sayl Retail via https://app.saylretail.com with your email address and password.

Go in the menu to 'Settings', then 'Payment settings'.

Note: you can only add a payment provider in Sayl Retail when you are not in the demo period. To add one, upgrade to a paying plan. We will continue this guide as when you are in a paying plan.

Click 'add payment means' button at the bottom.

Now choose 'I have a payment provider contract'.

Step 4 - Configure the details

From the list in Sayl Retail, choose 'Worldline Direct'. Do not choose 'Ingenico' as this is the older method, which is there solely for legacy reasons.

click at the right side 'Continue'.

Now indicate 'Yes, I know my payment provider settings'.

Environment: choose 'Production'
The PSP ID field: fill in the PSP ID that you used to log into Ingenico backoffice.
API key: copy the Direct API key from the Ingenico Direct settings tab
Secret: copy the secret from the Ingenico Direct settings tab

Eventually save and you are good to go!
